How to Edit a Shipment

Editing a shipment record is easy in eTrackCargo.com. Just follow these steps Once you are successfully logged into the system the appropriate Menu page opens and you will have up to 4 different options to choose from. The Agents user Menu looks like this:
Click on the blue "file number" of the shipment you wish to edit and eTrackcargo.com will open a View and Edit page that will have any previously input data contained within it. You can edit and view shipment details in both the summary and detailed formats. While in the eTrackCargo.com edit pages all you have to do is. Type the data into a text field that you would like to add to the record or change in the record. Select the data from the drop down field that you wish to update within the record or add to the record. If you need to add information to a lookup list click and a small form will appear for you add your data. (See Add New Names or Manage List Help files to learn how to add information.) Click "Report" for a printout. (To change the size of the printed data go to "View" and select "Text Size." We suggest you choose the largest setting for easy reading. Click "Save" on top of the form and your new shipment updates will be posted and you will return to the search area where you can select another shipment to edit and update. If you fail to click "Save" before you exit the current screen all changes will be lost. Carrier Tracking: Our blue "Carrier Tracking" link located under the logo on top of each page will allow you to easily enter your AWB or OBL to check on the status of your cargo. The information comes directly from the carriers own systems. Here at eTrackCargo.com we also will soon be offering direct carrier updates within our system. | ||||||||||||||
