Editing a shipment record is easy in eTrackCargo.com. Just follow these steps

• Sign into eTrackCargo.com with your username and password. The sign in screen looks like this:

  Once you are successfully logged into the system the Menu page opens and you will have 6 different options to choose from. The Menu looks like this:

  Search by: Any File Number Customer Shipper Consignee Origin Agent Destination Agent Vessel Airline Master ID House ID Delivered Date Origin City Destination City Container Numbers Purchase Orders Select the Form View: Enter the value (or beginning of the value): Summary       Detail
  This being the help page the hyperlinks on the right are turned off. The actual eTrackCargo.com menu uses this blue area to display a message about each link to the right as you hover your mouse pointer over the link.	View Reports Add New Shipment Manage Lists Manage Users Lists

   

  Perform a search to find the shipment you wish to edit.

  Click on the blue "file number" of the shipment you wish to edit and eTrackcargo.com will open a View and Edit page that will have any previously input data contained within it. You can edit and view shipment details in both the summary and detailed formats.

  While in the eTrackCargo.com edit pages all you have to do is.

  Type the data into a text field that you would like to add to the record or change in the record.

  Select the data from the drop down field that you wish to update within the record or add to the record. If you need to add information to a lookup list click   and a small form will appear for you add your data.  (See Add New Names or Manage List Help files to learn how to add information.)

  Click "Report" for a printout. (To change the size of the printed data go to "View" and select "Text Size." We suggest you choose the largest setting for easy reading.

  Click "Save" on top of the form and your new shipment updates will be posted and you will return to the search area where you can select another shipment to edit and update. If you fail to click "Save" before you exit the current screen all changes will be lost.

  Carrier Tracking: Our blue "Carrier Tracking" link located under the logo on top of each page will allow you to easily enter your AWB or OBL to check on the status of your cargo. The information comes directly from the carriers’ own systems. Here at eTrackCargo.com we also will soon be offering direct carrier updates within our system.
